Need help creating a website

How hard is it to make a site that is similar to youtube. Basically it will be the exact same thing as youtube but the videos will only be specific to one category
so to speak. I don't really have any experience creating websites besides really nooby freewebs ones and want to make this site a legitimate .com site. How much coding and such will i need to know?

You could probably find a pre-made video uploading script and play around with it...

Maybe you could make a Wordpress or Joomla or phpNuke site (or something like that) and get a video upload plugins and mass-edit it.
