Color survey

I got the bug to make styles for VB. I know what I like but what is it you like to see color wise in forums? Right now I have a blue, a leather/brass, and a brown(currently under construction).
What color combinations would you use building a forum?

Some times, a Dark Gray Background, and an Orange Forground looks good.
