xp home, task manager problem

howdy all,

ok, here's my poblem. when every i try to get into task manager it would automaticly close down. and no error messege will come up. i have done several anti-virus scans and also AD-AWARE scans. But these have no fixed the problem.

so wats the problem??

has anyone had the same problem??

Can it be fixed??

I've seen various spyware packages that carry the ability to close down the task manager so that yuo cannot see the process running. These also come with the ability to return false results to some of the more popular virus and adware scanners.

You coul try running Hijack this to get a definitive list of all the processes running.

ad-aware found "LOP" malware. got rid of that, but still happening.
