Hello there,

Is it possible to have 2 copies of WinXP on one computer on different partitions?

The reason I want to do this is because I have a home network and I want to use seperate systems for home and office.

Thank you in advance

Cheers,
BEEF

hmmm... what you need my friend is an emulator. there's one called VMWare. basically, you can run other OS on top of OS. my laptop runs XP and Linux Redhat 8.0 on top of it. or u can do it vice versa; windows on top of linux. or win2k on top of XP.

or you could Try using Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, its good.....hope that helps.

I have VPC and its excellent. just wont install two distros of linux I threw at it. CORE and Debian. Debians useless anyways.

apeaking of debian I had to let that cat go, he peed on my jeans!!! and also kept trying to jump angel all day and all nite.

yah its a pain, but ok for webserving tho. if you miniamalize it.

but the all around best OS ever is windows server 2003!!

Guys, thanks for the response, I actually played with it and managed to install 2 copies of XP on 2 different partitions, edited the boot.ini wala!!! Two copies of win XP for different domains.
