Windows Vista or Windows XP Pro

heyy im currently in the position were im not sure which operating to choose from, they both have their good and bad points and both run at about the same speed on my laptop, which would be best for me?

Laptop specs are:
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2390 (1.86GHz)
Memory: 1GB DDR2 PC2-4200 (1 Memory Slot. Max 1GB)
Hard Drive: 120GB SATA
Screen: 15.4" TFT WXGA (1280x800)
Video Card: SIS Mirage3 integrated graphics (256MB shared)
Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio
Network Card SiS191 Ethernet Controller
LiteOn WN6301L Wireless LAN

any help deciding will help alot thanks :)

From my personal experience... I would say Xp. I mean you have good enough specs for vista maybe some more ram. But I would go with xp.
 
If you got another 1GB ram (that would make 2GB), vista would run great. It would still be ok with 1GB, but I've never had less than 2GB ram with an actual permanent vista install.
