I noticed that it says on the sys req I need 64mb video ram but can a 32mb video ram work fine? I wanted to use Media Player 10 on my eMachines and my Sony laptop that are both 8 years old. Has anyone used this program on a 32mb video card? I noticed all other specs meet but just the video ram part said I needed 64mb.

In my opinion, I would think that it would be the quality of "video" that you are playing that would make a difference, for instance, you are not I repeat not going to be able to run full 720p video on that card nor 1080p but I would think that any kind of normal video or music would do fine.

Media Player 10 works better than all of them in my opinion, try it and see what happens.

I'm running Windows Media Player 11 on a WinXP machine with a 8 MB video card. Plays DVDs OK.
