Hi guys,

I have a Windows 2000 workstation here with SP3 that keeps rebooting itself as soon as it make it to the log on prompt. It flashes the CTRL-ALT-DEL for a sec, then says Windows is shutting down. The only thing i installed was Adobe Acrobat Standard 6 but i dont see how thats an issue. The machine WILL boot in safe mode, but does nothing when i try the Last Known Good Config. Any thoughts????

are all the updates in place from here to fix any issues you may have?

also yes this could be a virus , usually the SASSER virus causes repeat shutdowns & re-boots...you can find out the latest virus info & fixxes here .
