Windows 2000

Hi,
We use windows 2000 and I want to upgrade the hard disk, can I just copy the hard disk on to the new one, if I do this will it work fine without reinstalling windows?

Well you could use Norton Ghost 9

Or you can go with Partition Magic 8

Both made by the same company...

what you do is basicly copy an image from 1 hdd to anothere hdd. like on cd's when you copy them as an image.

norton ghose is the best i feel coz thats the only one i use and have got to grip with.

its ok tho but i dont like it that much. only if your in a rush. what i would do is get another hard drive and copy all you want to that then re format the old one and then put all ur work etc.. back.
