Default Windows 10

So woke this morning and discovered Microsoft's latest OS in the making Windows 10 (I am actually surprised they didn't call it Windows 9 or just Windows like speculated). If you want the Tech Preview go to Windows Technical Preview is coming soon - Microsoft Windows to register, I am pretty sure that is available for Technet Members already. Announcing Windows 10

Windows 10 looks like it's going to be an interesting OS. I'm still getting used to Vista and Windows 7.

We'll see how this OS turns out to be like. I just hope it's user friendly when it comes to gamers.

Technology is moving ahead so fast I can barely keep up.

I am looking forward to trying it out, Hopefully they'll offer free upgrades to people who either brought a PC with Windows 8 or brought a copy of it like speculated.

Virtual machines reduce the performance.
But i have actually given in. as we speak i am installing it via VMware.
I tried virtual box first, but i had trouble getting it to work. VMware seams to be working just fine.

I am at work now and i am soon off. So i'll first be testing it tomorrow.

i have just installed the preview on a virtual machine. Everything is just too slow for me to stand. (using a laptop). So i have brought some DVD's from home. I'll install it on my harddrive instead.

So far, the installation looks very similar to Windows 8. There is one thing that i really had hoped they would fix.
Why can't a choose a... what can i call it.. "normal" profile. I have to use a live account to log in.
Sure i can just disconnect the internet and it wont ask for it, but there should be an option. Like:

Login with Windows live
Create a new live account
Create a non-live account (not recommended)

i am gonna complain about this in the feedback app.
