win 7 help

I want to install win 7. Altamit but this is my only computer so I need to findout everything now.

I have a fue programs that are for win xp and I know win 7. Aultamit has win xp Mode in it.

But wen I look on YouTube to see how to get the win xp Mode setup it looks to me very very hard.

I know it has something to do with opening a window and in it you make an account and I don't understand why???

Maybe I am looking at the wrong things about win 7. xp Mode setup.

Can someone tell me in there own words how it goes??

I've never used it myself, but here's some good info from Microsoft:

If you want to install Windows 7 in your computer and you currently have XP as your Operating System, you will have to do a complete removal of your XP operating system as Windows Vista can be upgraded to 7 but XP cannot.
