I have windows XP and windows Vista on seprate drives..
When i open up my computer on Vista it says
Local disk (C: that has XP
Local disk (D: that has Vista
CD drive (E: Dvd drive
CD drive (F: Dvd -+ RW

but when i open up my computer on XP its like
Local disk (C: that has XP
Local disk (F: that has Vista
CD drive (D: Dvd drive
CD drive (E: Dvd -+ RW

How do i switch them so on both Operating systems there all the same
""""Local disk (C: that has XP
Local disk (D: that has Vista
CD drive (E: Dvd drive
CD drive (F: Dvd -+ RW""""

Is it possable?
Please help this will save me lots of confusion later on..

Other words i want to rename them switch on XP
Local disk (C: that has XP stay C
Local disk (F: that has Vista rename to D
CD drive (D: Dvd drive rename to E
CD drive (E: Dvd -+ RW rename to F

In XP, go to the run command and type "diskmgmt.msc" and press enter. Here you can right-click a drive and change it's letter to any open letter. In Vista, do that same command in the search bar on the start menu and press enter, it's done the same way from there.

You may need to play around a little bit by moving things like the E drive to G or something to free up the letter for the drive you want to occupy E (if that makes sense).
