Default vista and linksys

Hi all........
have put vista on one of my desktops but i am having truble getting the linksys pci card to work i have dual booted so i have xp pro on one drive and vista on the ither it works fine in xp but not in vista can anyone help

Is the driver actually installed in device manager? Try using the update feature in vista? That might install the driver for you.

there is a driver in there?
its funny the laptop i have with vist rtm on with the linksys card in works fine ?
but not the desktop??

does it say that the driver is working properly? have you used windows update? Whats the exact problem with it, hows it not working?

yes the driver says it is working properly so it will not update my driver?
the problem is that it can not find my wireless network

Have you tried rebooting the router? Have you tried doing a repair of the connection on the computer? Is it enabled?

been on linksys webpage looks like the pci card i have is not supported with vista
cr... would not off installed vista if i had none!!!

Ive had a look round, and some people are saying that it works with the XP drivers

I dont think its a driver problem, i think its a configuration problem of some sort. Can you go into the network connections screen and post a pic on here?

vista is not seeing the network card linksys say that it is not going to support my card for vista what a bumer?

i can take the card out and put it back in another port and it is the same does not see it but when you boot up in xp it works just fine like i said i had vista rtm on and it work with that but not this vista??

well
you was right had to look into the configuration had to add it to manage wireless network mess with the ip address and it works just fine(hope!!!)
