Default video clip formatted file problems

Video clip formatted files are, by default, played in WMP. But when i attempt to play them, WMP only plays the soundtrack version. I have to use VLC player which is kinda irritating.

I have modified the file format settings to default in the two players but now i have to right click and open with VLC all the time.

What is the problem?

Default Re: video clip formatted file problems

right click one of your videos. go to "properties". then click on "open with", and change it to vlc. the problem is you dont have the right codecs.
