I searched these forums for a while and couldn't find a solution to the problem I am having
Basically, my old HDD broke, so I replaced it and thought everything was fine. I installed a couple of programmes (e.g. Skype, Word, a photo editor..) and they all worked fine right after I installed them. Next time I turned my computer on though, Skype and the photo editor didnt work. After opening them, they would work for about 5 seconds then freeze, saying that 'Skype has stopped working... Windows is checking for a solution'. Reinstalling the programmes worked, but only temporarily again! Since then Skype has never worked, the photo editor works only on certain boot ups and Word/Powerpoint/Excel etc always work!
If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated
