Ridiculously Large File Sitting In My PC

So, today I noticed that my PC has somehow had a rather unusual change in It's free hard drive space.
I did a little digging around, and I located the file in a hidden folder named "$Windows.~BT".
The file is named "Reserved.DynamicUpdate", and It's size? Only a measly 298 GB in size.

The pathway to the file is C:\$Windows.~BT\DUDownload\GDRDUUpdates

I additionally had updated Windows 8, I'm not completely sure what the update was for, however It did take an unusually prolonged time span to fully update.

Any information regarding this is greatly appreciated.

I am going to go with MrMixx's opinion in the other thread.
Create a system restore point, delete the massive file, and restart. If that causes you trouble you can always restore from the point before you did that.

I almost wonder if it isn't some cache file that just increases in size rather than overwriting itself. That, or possibly something related to the automated backup.
