remote desktop (sending vga feed to another computer)

I have a desktop computer and a laptop, all my games data is stored on the desktop and the laptop isnt powerful to run most of the games so i want the desktop to run it but for the image and control of the desktop sent to the laptop so i can play it on there around the house wirelessly...

Does remote desktop just send whats on the main screen of the desktop to the laptop or does it send all the information using up the cpu and ram...

if it does is there a better way or program to do this?

If you're on the same network you can share a drive. C, E, or whatever driver your Programs Files folder is on. Share it, then copy the stuff you want to share on the shared hard drive.
