I just installed Windows XP Pro on my 160g Stripped [Raid 0] hard drives. I partitioned the drive as followed:
10g for the system
20g for music
40g for programs
1.5g for paging file
83(approx) for games

After installing XP I noticed that there are some programs in the program files. Is there a program that will change the directory of these programs but still maintain the registry keys and structures to run the program?

go the the enironment variables in my computer to define locations:

right click on my computer

to to advanced

theres a button on teh bottom that says environment variables

then at the top theres:

for ex: TEMP C:\Temp

you would add an entry for your program files like this bty clicnking the new button below the list and input the varible name as Program Files then add the right partition where the program files is to be stored in the value field.

than click ok

then ok again. and ok again

then it will ask you to restart and click hes and the varibles will de defined and you'll see program files on that partition. if this works correctly.
