Hey all.

Dont know what I did or where I browsed but here is my problem.

(Desktop XP Home SP3) This morning after waking up and opening my browser to check mails and what not. Every 2 minutes or so I get this Avast pop up telling me zondg.com bla bla bla.
I googled it and its some malicious URL or something.
After reading a few forums most tell me the same thing.
Run Combofix
Stinger
Malwarebytes
Norton Power eraser

Each program found something to remove

OK GREAT i thought!!
After reboot I get windows saying xxxxxxxx.csrss.exe missing. I connect to the internet using a USB modem, open IE --Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage--.
Dammit, so I fire up the old laptop (Vista) which connects perfectly to anything I give it.

Bottom line cant find a solution for the csrss.exe window
And cant get browser to work on desktop.
FYI IE8, FF, Chrome, Opera is not working
Online MMO eve-online works so I do have a good connection!!
Oh and my PC is slow as HELL, dammit

Apologies for the long letter.
Hope u guys can help me

Cheers Pof

Oh probably part of the same prob, MMO has a ingame browser and thats also not working

I'm not sure where XP hides it anymore, but there is an internet settings section within the control pannel. Under the networking section of that (Might be a button that say's like "LAN settings" or something) make sure that it is not set to use a proxy.

I'm not sure about the file error though. Maybe running sfc -scannow in command prompt can fix that

Thanks for reply, but can you be more specific please Im a real noob when it comes to this typa thing
