I previously used Audacity, but apparently they havent updated there software to be compatible with Windows 7. I would like to use something similar. Not wanting anything big like Adobe or Pro Tools, just something easy and basic I guess....Any ideas?

Try Reaper.

I use it, when not using Nuendo 4, to mix with. It's cheap but very powerful and it's internal patching is what makes it special.

You can download a fully working trial and the license is only $40!!!!

Seriously, it's great!

Good looking out as usual Reminez! Imma give it a shot!

P.S. Reminez did you get that song I sent u awhile back!/?

I can vouch for the Unicode Audacity beta. Been using it on Windows 7 for months now.

Personally, I use the normal Audacity which crashes in Windows 7 UNLESS you run in XP SP3 compatibility mode. Which seems to work for me. It's worth a shot. I didn't like the beta, so that's my solution.

Its really hard to beat audacity if you want a free app that has no nagware.
Audacity might work fully on windows 7 soon
