Just kidding, welcome to CF!

When you copy and paste from a website, this is more or less to do just that... stop plagiarism. Try selecting a few paragraphs only and do it by piece work instead of the entire article. I've seen a few instances where no matter what you select and paste, it retains a certain reference anyway. You can simply delete it but, in my experience, this is to protect a site's work and there's nothing that I know of that will stop this as it' coding on the site. You could try pasting into Notepad first as everything in Notepad is editable but you lose formatting, if any. Hope this helps!
