Default Microsoft Outlook Problem

Hey all.

Probably wrong section. Mods please move if I am wrong.

Just checking in. I'm currently helping out my dad with his old computer.
He has been recieving multiple copies of the same email (both spam and actual). The date stamp shows they were sent at the same time but there is more than one copy of the same email.

How can I rectify this issue?
So that the emails only come in one at a time.
Using Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Pretty basic email software. Old version of Microsoft Office Outlook.
Attatched is the spam section. For example.
I don't want to give away personal emails, etc on here.
This is happening on the INBOX section as well.
With personal email accounts.

Let me know what you think!
