Loosing Sound after installing wireless keyboard and mouse

Like the title said I just installed M$'s wireless keyboard and mouse. I have a Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A, and a Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0. After installed both of them and restarted my computer I lost all sound. I checked the M$ website and didn't find anything that would be helpful.

Anything that you can come up with would be great.

I have Windows XP Pro 32bit.

I figured out my problem by just looking in the volume controls. My master was muted.
