Linux won't boot after install

It's weird because my 6 year old laptop is able to duel boot win 7 and ubuntu just fine using unetbootin , my my 1 week old custom gaming computer in which I installed Ubuntu exactly the same way will not work. I tried installing it twice now. Whenever I boot Linux, the doesn't load past the "Press Esc to go to the menu" screen, and then it just stops and won't load.

Is there a possibility of your installation media being damaged?

I would suggest you download again from Ubuntu Linux official site and burn the ISO again hon.

I used UNetBootin, so no discs or USB's were involved, all on the hard drive. I swear I did the EXACT same thing on my 6 year old laptop, and it works, but on my 2 week old desktop it just doesn't load.
