You need to go to the HP support website and download Win 7 drivers from there. Since you can't currently connect to the internet, you'll need to do it from another computer.

You put the drivers into a flash drive, connect to the other PC, and double click. If it's not picking up USB devices, then I don't know what to say. Seems more like a hardware issue. Maybe you should try resetting the BIOS to default settings.

Make sure to install the chipset drivers first.

I think he is asking how he can get the files in his computer if USB ports don't seem to work and there is no internet connection.

My only idea is that you put the HDD in another computer and copy the installers.

How did you reinstall Windows 7? Was it from a CD?

Seems that it's only in Windows that the USB ports don't respond.

Since you installed from a disk, are you sure the USB ports work in the first place?

You have two options here.

Either burn the manufactures drivers onto a separate CD and put this in the same CD drive you used to install Windows (I assume this works.)

Or burn a new CD that contains the drivers that you need on the install CD.
