Default Installing Windows 7

Hello all,

A friend of mine said that he has the Windows 7 OS as an ISO image file. HE said that I can use that to install it on my laptop and said that he had done it succesfully before.

My question is: Is this possible? If so, how is it done. What would be the steps to install it on my laptop?

Thanks a million

It is possible with a few other steps added in. But what your friend is proposing is against Microsoft's TOS.
