I Decided to try Ubuntu

So I thought I would share with you all. This is my first post... I Decided to try the Ubuntu Live CD two days ago.... Well weather it be my lack of knowledge or that stupid program I ended up reloading XP on my hard drive... It wiped out my ntldr and some other boot files. And I couldn't fix it... So I was checking into some backup utilities and came across PE Builder... It Is a windows type live boot cd that you can use to; partition hard drive, restore files, so on and so forth.... I'm kinda new but it's simple if anyone is interested... I have a couple questions about running some software with it... anyone interested?
