hp photosmart driver problems

hey all!!

I need some help here ...I was given an HP Photosmart C4180 printer by a coworker and have been trying to install the driver to make it usable, but my computer says there's a problem with the security certificate from the driver from HP and anywhere else I download a driver from ...I'm running windows xp

any ideas so I can start printing??

Welcome to CF!

You can always contact HP Support to check on the validity of the driver. If you downloaded it from HP.com, then give them that feedback via email and see if they update the certificate. The only other way to get the thing to print would be to force install a generic printer driver and hope that it works...My guess though, it wont.
