Hi,
I just recently installed Microsoft's Tech Preview (Windows 10) and for some reason it copied (upgraded) over my windows 7 x64 OS. I just wanted to install it on a separate partition away from Windows 7 but it never gave me the option to. I found that my Windows 7 got moved to the Windows.old folder. Since I still have my previous OS intact, is there any way at all to restore it without having to erase my hard drive and start all over again?
I also tried booting from my Win7 installation DVD and tried to install windows 7 by downgrading (selected the Upgrade option), but it gave me a compatibility problem saying it doesn't support the current version of windows (Tech Preview/Windows 10). I REALLY don't want to erase my hard drive.
