Folders wont move

Hello.
im asking for help i cant move my folders for some reason (i dont know why) i can only copy paste is there any sulution to fix this
Im using Windows XP Service Pack 2 can you help me about this problem?
P.S sorry for my bad english

can you copy it and then delete the original?

Try right clicking and move the folder.
When it asks, select to Move rather than Copy or Cut, or try Cut if that fails. It'll basically do the same job.

Please elaborate on the folders not moving.. are the folder and contents copied to the new location and not removed from the old?
There are a lot of issues not fully moving directories almost randomly folders and files are left behind. As well if you are moving or deleting from a search result you may see files that do not exist for quite a while before the indexing catches up with itself.

Yeah but i cant move a folder to another one i dont know what's the problem it worked well but now no...
