Hi everyone, I recently installed DirectX 10 on Windows XP by accident. Yeah you read it right, Windows XP and now I'm not able to play any games or activate a few documents such as visual programs. I'm not able to reformat because my dad doesn't allow me to. Is there any other way to get rid of it and replace it with DirectX 9c again?

My PC is Vista-ready, but I'm stick with XP because it's been veddy, veddy gooood to me. I never had any major problems with it, let alone a BSOD.

Ok well, I deleted the registry and it automatically installed DirectX 9.0b I downloaded DirectX 9c and I extract it to a temp folder. I pressed on "DXSETUP" and it installed something then said "Installtion ready to use" and I dont know what to do after that. My dxdiag still says im on DirectX 9b.
