hey,

i want to roll back and use windows xp 32-bit instead of what i am using now, windows xp x64 edition.

Is this possible. When i format it says i need to put in windows x64 disc to continue. then when i take it out after format and put in 32-bit disc it says i need to insert the x64 disc to continue installation.

Why is it that i cannot revert back to 32-bit?

How can i do this? as i have vista 32-bit and xp pro x64 wont let me install 32-bit vista because they are 'different versions' or something...

Is it possible for me to get back to 32-bit or do i need 64-bit vista? i would much rather 32-bit though.

You should be able to boot into Vista 32 bit and delete partitions, reformat then load. If your pc has a floppy drive ... or if you have a USB floppy, you might want to go to bootdisk.com and create a bootdisk and use the fdisk option to delete your hard drive. Then boot up with Vista 32 bit.

Yeah, just do as said above, boot from the 32bit XP disc, and delete the partition, and then create and format the drive and fresh install the OS.
