Default Can't open photo's

I have got a Fuji digital camera and they supplied a software disk, suitable for Windows 7 for Fin Pix which I have installed.

I downloaded the photo's OK but when I go to open them I get a 'error reading file' message, I have also put them into a new file but I get the same message.

Can anyone help this OAP please.

Thanks

Ken

Is it the photo viewable from the camera?

Can you try to open the picture from the SD card?

I think it may be the filesystem issue. The PC could default with NTFS whilst the camera wants FAT16 or 32

Do you have any memory left? If you do try deleting them then upload them again.

Try uploading on a different computer to test if it's your computer or a problem with your camera.

Have you tried opening these files in different programs. for example can you open it in internet explorer or firefox. or can you edit the photos by using something such as paint or photoshop?

you can do this by right clicking on the image you want to open and then click open with and then choose the appropriate program.

Can you show the exact error message? If you take that exact error message and put it into google, chances are you're not the first who has gotten that message
some one else might have posted something some where.
