Cannot Download Adobe

I have a Gateway laptop, 64 bit, Windows 7 with 32 bit and 64 bit IE browsers and cannot download ANY Adobe products. Niece NEEDS computer for work classes. Why is this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried downloading the plugins from the website? http://www.adobe.com/
