Cannot create a new Folder

For some reason the option to make a new folder has disappeared. I use Windows Vista.
It's been about three months that happened, and fortunately I haven't needed so many new folders, just copying older ones and emptying the contents lol. Talk about recycling.
Does anyone know how I could fix that?
