Hello peeps. What is the most compatible and effective way to burn videos as DVD movie discs. DivX and H.264 would be examples of the type of video files I'd be using. I'd also like to be able to choose audio languages and subtitles that are usually embedded in my videos.

I'm running Windows XP 64-bit. Any recommendations on software?

id also like to know. even if i gotta pay for the program, all the free ones i use end up messing with the audio sync. looks like a cheap old kung fu movie

What I do to get AVI and other videos to my tv is through my xbox 360 using Tversity

Another way to get Divx/avi to your tv is using a divx compatible dvd player.

If you want DVD>AVI the best program for this is Handbrake (Never had out of sync audio like I had with every other program)

I use the free "Microsoft DVD" maker, I just use a AVI or WMV format. get a "DVD-R" cd and it will work on all players. I learned that one the hard way.
