Bing is stalking me!!!

I just got a new laptop with Bing installed as the search engine and a toolbar.I might like Bing,I don't know...but I don't need it telling me I need a new tool bar or homepage a few times a day.

I have always used google.How can I get Bing to shut up?If I get rid of Bing and the toolbar will I still get the pop-ups?

If you uninstall the toolbar, the pop-ups should stop also. You can also set Google at the default search engine in your browser.

I did that yesterday and everything is good so far.I might have liked Bing,it had some intresting things on it's toolbar like maps related to a search.But could not give it much of a chance if it was gonna be intrusive.Clueless.
