From the old DOS days it was possible to move files of a set extension, keeping the directory structure, I think it was called XMOVE.
I want to do the same- I have my music collection, with lossy and lossless music. Move all MP3's, OGG etc to another directory. That way I can slowly replace the MP3 collection with flac, deleting the Mp3 albums as I go along.
Is there anyway of doing this in Windows/command prompt?
Had to resort to known method in command prompt , xcopy *.mp3 E: /s method. Annoying if you don't have space elseware to do this.
