Default archlinux: configuring internet connection

I just installed archlinux and everything is dandy, except that I can't figure out how to make my internet work! That computer is connected to a switch connected to a router. I try to upen up the web browser and I can't go anywhere. How do I mess with the internet connection? Thanks

If an admin sees this, I'm sorry that I'm posting a thread that's sortof contradictory to my last thread, but I solved the problem of which distribution to use, so if you can delete my thread, thanks, and sorry.
