AGP Video Card Installation Trouble

I have just bought a PowerColor X1300 AGP video card and when i install it in the computer and try to start it, my tower beeps and even though the power is on nothing happens but beeps. Please help. Thanks

Have you checked its the right graphics card for your system,and have you double checked you put it in correctly as i recently installed a gforce fx5200 and it was a pig at first to get all the way in.(you probably have but i thought id ask)
