AE 7.0 won't install on my xp 64 os

so anyways. heres my problem. I'm trying to install AE 7.0 on my comp (of course its not a pirated copy * wink, wink*) but for some reason it always gives me a runtime error. And to make it more frustratin it doesn't even give me any kind of error code. I had previously thought it had to do with the fact that I was unable for some reason to install quicktime. But today I got quicktime to install and the same feakin message showed up. I'm beyond frustrated
