MySpace IM and Pidgin 2.2.1 in Ubuntu 7.10

When I try to sign into my MySpace IM account in Pidgin, Pidgin hangs. Could someone please help me?

It's a bug, upgrade to 2.3.1

That's what I though too. but I can't get 2.3.1 for Ubuntu.

apt-get install upgrade? You should be able to get it for Ubuntu.

Crap, sorry it's apt-get upgrade, not apt-get install upgrade.
