installed missing file and still doesn't work

i tried to run labtheiflite and it gave me the oscsock.ocx error so i dled oscsock.ocx put it in c:\windows\system32\
and then went to command prompt and did cd c:\windows\system32 then the regsvr32 oscsock.ocx then restarted and it still didn't work. any help would be appreciated.
it says
Run-time error '372':
Failed to load control 'oscSock' from . Your version of may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application

try doing the same thing with a oscsock32.ocx
