YouTube slow?

Is it just me or has YouTube been unbelievably slow the past couple of days?

I keep seeing buffering times easily 2-3x the length of the video itself for just about everything, I don't think it's anything my end because everything else on the net my end is working great and flying along, so I dunno.

It looks like it's getting better, they're performing maintenance right now and it's a lot faster already.

They disabled all ratings and comments for the time being though

Hopefully they fix some of the bugs that have been lingering around.

Site maintenance. I know mine is running slow because I have a torrent going, but the maintenance probably explains most of your slowdown.

yeah its REALLY slow and i have to reload the video anywhere from 3 to 10 times just to get it to work!!!!

i pinged youtube for the hell of it and i was gettin like 100's
