I got a TI-83 graphing calculator for my math class today, and the manual for this thing has got to be at least 200 pages. I don't understand half of the stuff, it takes some getting used to but it's pretty cool and it will help me in math. I'm shocked that a calculator needs a manual that big to go along with it.

Yeah they are crazy. The TI-89 basically takes place of your brain it's sooo complex

BTW does anyone know what times airtime is free from Verizon??

I didn't know verizon had free airtime... I'll have to go look at that.

I looked at the Ti-89 but that was a bit too pricey for me. The Ti-83 is complex enough for me, I can hardly imagine how complex the ti-89 is:eek:

The Titanium edition (the ti-79, I think) is the coolest thing ever. It does every single math operation for you. Greatest thing ever :)

Bah, my TI-84 Plus actually does the same. The TI-92 is the biggest one though.

usually your math teacher teaches you how to use it during class, well at least mine does.

Yeah, I got a crash course on mine. Actually, I used the graphings a bit more, but the main part was calculations.
