What is your favourite word?

I've heard several forms of that.

"How's your hammer hanging?"

"Hey, what's shaking?"

"Hey, what's hopping now?"

"What's happening man?"

etc

ETA: ,oh yeah, I've heard a lot of this too: "Ya working?"

After some more thought, I recalled a few more euphemisms I am particularly fond of. From my astronomy/spaceflight hobby come the terms lithobraking (in the catastrophic sense) and rapid, unscheduled disassembly. Another great one, which I read online somewhere, is solipsistic omnicide.

I have never been particularly fond of slang, so I don't have much to contribute. The one example that comes to mind is how my brother and I always refer to marijuana as "FROGS."

FUBAR comes to mind, as does a Charlie Fox. Oh, and SNAFU.

I've got lots of friends who are former military.

Not necessarily the religious faith, even tho for me it is related to it.

I just remembered a joke that someone discovered "polo" was their hobby so they started looking for what the heck it is.
