What did you do with your tax return?

Probably only applies to a small share of our forum but I'm curious as to how people spent their tax return.

Thanks to apartment credits and school credits I got a little over 3k back. Thanks to my new internship, I needed a better vehicle so I put it all (and then some) as a down payment on a '09 RAV4.

What did you guys use yours on?

I only got a 1k back but I used half of it for my new build and basically put the rest in savings.

I owed $1500 because my withholding was messed up....

My wife and I got a lot back and are renovating a foreclosure we bought. Well as far as we can get with it anyways. Since it was a foreclosure there may or may not be a lot wrong with it. The first things are the well and the septic system which are getting checked 2morrow so hopefully if all goes well its on to all new windows and refinishing the wood floors so wish me luck.

1K from feds (which ALL went towards auto insurance for the next 6 months.. Completely paid, yay!) and 300 from state which was spent on whatever I desired. I was hoping to save some, but yeah, insurance is an unfortunate expense West Virginians are forced to pay...
