Is there such thing as a computer keyboard thats velocity sensitive? i.e knows how hard your hitting the keys?
If not, its a great idea I think.

For example a harder press would count as a capital letter, and softer ones, a standard letter, because I type rather softly usually.

It'd also be great for people with synths, that want a cheap method of starting off samples, etc at different volumes.

they have that stuff on the PS's and Xboxs, dont think there a keyboard with pressure sensitivity though. it would be hard to control, i type so fast that i dont even tell how hard i press sometimes, you also type harder when your anger, although you probably dont notice it.

Yeah, and with anger usually comes with caps lock on :p

It'd be an interesting idea.

For a text mode, you'd only have 2 velocities so you could make it so you had to hit rather hard to get a captial letter, that you wouldn't normally.

But imagine using it as a pad, with patches on each key. That'd be amazing if it was velocity controlled.
