I've been in St. John's the whole weekend (note the 10,000 different IP addresses I've been using here) and yesterday it was 22 degrees F (-5 Celsius), and the wind chill made that way worse. Did I mention it was windy? EXTREMELY WINDY. Yep, and it snowed too. June 2nd.

Anyway, St. John's is a pretty cool city... only ~100,000 - 120k people in the metro area; but it serves people from over 5 hours away so its bumper to bumper traffic around certain parts. (Lots of unsecured wireless connections, like this one, too ^_^)

That being said, I'm probably the closest person on CF to the UK. Closest active member anyway.

By the way, the weather network better be wrong:

Probably a typo (the -45 degrees thing), but it appeared on TV too... so...

It's a typo. from -45 to 8C is rather preety big. It's a frost warning, not freeser warning.
