Question about PMP certification if there is any certified

Hello,

While I was surfing the internet, I came to pmp certification requirements.

My question:
it's mentioned that for bachelore graduate, you have to have 4500 experience hours within the last 6 years. is it correct ?? only within the last six years ??!

If you have a degree then you're meant to have done 6.5 hours of PM tasks every day for three years. (and those three years must be within the last six years)
if you don't have a degree then it's 6.5 hours per working day for five years, (within the last 8 years).

That's kind of what I was thinking, it seems that this is very in depth, and I wondered what the use o the quLificqtion would be if you'd have that much experience, but as I read through an article on it I see it's meant to be that governments will only take on pmi certified project managers.
