I really can't see the point in doing this, not one little bit.

The nerdy bit is where they convert this binary backup tape into a soundwave, play it back and try to extract the original Apple BASIC language from the soundwave itself.

I'd say that's pretty nerdy.

HAhah. I remember the old spectrum machines that used to load software from playing an audio casset in a near by player. If you made any noises while loading if messed the whole thing up
